Rooted in Connection - Galentines Workshop - Friday 13th

The wait is finally over - our first workshop of the Rooted in Connection Series is now live!!

Join us this Galentine's day, Friday 13th February, for a fun filled evening creating your own dried floral heart to hang on your door or inside your home. 

Come with your besties to celebrate friendship, or treat yourself to a little self-love crafting evening. Slow down and connect with one another through creativity. This is a safe space and all are welcome. Come as you are to relax and take time to yourself.

We will begin our workshop with Ceremonial Cacao, connecting to yourself through meditation to drop into the heart and be present in the moment. We will then get creative and connect with one another whilst making our dried floral hearts. We will close our ceremony with a sharing circle.

We are delighted to announce that our workshop will take place in The Workshop Ballynahinch.

Address: 4a Church Street, Ballynahinch, Down, United Kingdom BT24 8AF.

Time: 6:30pm - 9:30pm approx.

What to bring

• Your favourite cup for Cacao
• Cosy clothes
• Water
• Notebook and pen
• A cushion to sit on
• Something you would like to add to our alter during the circle. 
• If there is something sentimental you would like to weave into your floral heart, like someone's favourite flower, a piece of cloth/wool, a crystal etc please bring that along and we will incorporate it into your design. 

All materials will be supplied and no previous experience needed.

If you are pregnant, breast feeding, have a heart condition or taking MAOI inhibitors - please let us know. If you would prefer not to have Ceremonial Cacao that is ok, we will substitute it with a lovely cup of herbal tea and you will still feel the benefits of sitting in circle with everyone.

Things to note:

• The Ceremonial Cacao will be made with plant based milk - if you have any food intolerances please let us know after booking. 

Contraindications:

• Heart condition - Cacao increases blood flow and heart rate. If you have a heart condition please seek medical advice before taking Cacao ceremonially. 

• Pregnancy and Breastfeeding - if you are pregnant you might feel the effects of Cacao more. Please contact us at booking and we can advise. Breastfeeding you should be fine but please let us know at booking. 

• Antidepressants - if you are taking MAOI inhibitors please contact us before booking. 

• Other medications - if you are on any other heart/brain medication please contact us before booking.

Please note you can still take part in the workshop without drinking Cacao so don't let that put you off joining.
