Last updated: 21 November 2025
Welcome to Rooted (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and any orders you place with us. By placing an order or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Products
2.1 We offer floral arrangements, bouquets, gift items, and other related products, as displayed on our website.
2.2 All products are subject to availability. If an item is out of stock after you place an order, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer a suitable substitute of equivalent value or issue a refund.
2.3 Some flower products may be delivered in “bud” form to ensure a longer life.
2.4 Certain plants or flowers may be harmful (e.g., to pets). If you require more information about any specific product, please contact us.
2.5 If you order a product with alcoholic items (e.g., champagne gifts), you must be at least 18 years old. We reserve the right to refuse to supply or deliver alcoholic gifts to individuals under that age, in line with Licensing (Northern Ireland) laws.
3. How to Order & Payment
3.1 To place an order, you must provide accurate and complete information, including recipient name, delivery address, and a valid contact number.
3.2 Payment must be made at the time of placing your order. We accept all major credit/debit cards.
3.3 When you submit your order, you are making an offer to us to buy the selected products under these Terms. We will send you an order confirmation by email. A contract is formed once we send that confirmation (unless we explicitly tell you otherwise).
4. Pricing
4.1 All prices shown on the website are in GBP (British Pound Sterling)
4.2 Delivery charges are added at checkout and are not always included in product prices.
4.3 We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but this will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
5. Delivery
5.1 Delivery address must be within the areas we service. For special or remote delivery addresses, extra charges or restrictions may apply.
5.2 Deliveries are made on Wednesday and Friday evenings. While we aim to deliver on that date, delivery may sometimes be delayed due to circumstances beyond our control.
5.3 If we cannot deliver your order on the requested date, we will contact you to agree an alternative, or, if you prefer, to cancel and refund the order.
5.4 When we deliver, and someone at the delivery address accepts the flowers, that counts as delivery. If no one is available, we may leave the arrangement in a safe place (if permitted) or attempt re-delivery (which may incur additional charge).
5.5 Because flowers are perishable, please ensure someone is present to receive them. We cannot accept liability if the recipient is not available and the flowers are exposed to unsuitable conditions.
6. Cancellations, Returns & Complaints
6.1 Cancellations by you: You may request to cancel or change your order up to [48] hours before the requested delivery date. Please contact us via email or phone.
6.2 Perishable items: Once an order has been dispatched (or collected), we cannot accept cancellation if the items are perishable.
6.3 Substitutions: If a product is unavailable, we may substitute it with a similar item. You will be informed of this and have the option to accept or cancel.
6.4 Complaints: Because of the nature of floral products, if there is any issue (e.g., condition, missing items), you should contact us within 1 working day of delivery. We will assess your complaint and, if appropriate, offer a replacement, refund, or other remedy.
7. Freshness Guarantee
We endeavour to supply fresh, high-quality flowers. However, the lifespan of cut flowers depends on care, environment, and plant variety. We do not guarantee a specific lifespan, but we will work with you to resolve any issues reasonably.
8. Liability
8.1 We will not be liable for any loss, damage, or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including but not limited to extreme weather, transport disruption, or supplier issues.
8.2 Our total liability to you for any claim arising under or in connection with your order is limited to the total price you paid for the relevant products.
8.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website (text, images, graphics, logos) is owned by us or licensed to us. You may view, download, or print pages for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not otherwise reproduce, distribute, or exploit our content without our prior written consent.
10. Privacy
Your use of the website is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. It is your responsibility to review these Terms regularly. Continued use of the website after changes signifies your acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Northern Ireland courts.
13. Miscellaneous
13.1 If part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest will remain in full effect.
13.2 A person who is not a party to these Terms has no right to enforce any term under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act.
