Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 15 January 2026

Welcome to Rooted (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, the purchase of our products, and the booking and attendance of our workshops. By placing an order, booking a workshop, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Our Details

2. Products & Services

2.1 We offer floral arrangements, bouquets, gift items, workshops, and other related products and services as displayed on our website or advertised in-store or online.

2.2 All products and services are subject to availability. If an item or workshop becomes unavailable after you place an order or booking, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and offer a suitable alternative, transfer, or refund.

2.3 Some flower products may be delivered in “bud” form to ensure a longer life.

2.4 Certain plants or flowers may be harmful (for example, to pets or children). If you require specific advice, please contact us before purchasing.

3. How to Order, Book & Payment

3.1 To place an order or workshop booking, you must provide accurate and complete information, including a valid contact email and phone number.

3.2 Payment must be made in full at the time of placing your order or booking. We accept all major credit and debit cards.

3.3 When you submit an order or workshop booking, you are making an offer to purchase under these Terms. A legally binding contract is formed when we send you an order or booking confirmation by email (unless we notify you otherwise).

3.4 Workshops involving Ceremonial Cacao:
By booking any workshop that involves the consumption of ceremonial cacao, you confirm that you have read and understood the contraindications provided and that you are participating at your own discretion. You confirm that you are not aware of any medical condition, medication, or circumstance that would make consumption unsuitable. If you are unsure, you should seek medical advice before booking.

4. Pricing

4.1 All prices are shown in GBP (British Pound Sterling).

4.2 Delivery charges (where applicable) are added at checkout and are not always included in product prices.

4.3 We reserve the right to change prices at any time; however, price changes will not affect orders or workshop bookings that have already been confirmed.

5. Delivery & Collection

5.1 Delivery is available only within the areas we service. Additional charges or restrictions may apply to remote or special locations.

5.2 Deliveries are usually made on Wednesday and Friday evenings. While we aim to deliver on the requested date, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control.

5.3 If we are unable to deliver on the agreed date, we will contact you to arrange an alternative or offer a refund.

5.4 Delivery is deemed complete when the order is accepted at the delivery address. If no one is available, we may leave the order in a safe place (where appropriate) or arrange re-delivery, which may incur an additional charge.

5.5 Due to the perishable nature of flowers, we cannot accept liability where the recipient is unavailable and the flowers are exposed to unsuitable conditions after delivery.

6. Workshops

6.1 Booking:
All workshops must be booked in advance and paid for in full to secure your place.

6.2 Age Restrictions:
Unless otherwise stated, workshops are intended for participants aged 18 and over.

6.3 Attendance & Conduct:
You agree to behave respectfully and follow all instructions provided during workshops. We reserve the right to refuse participation or ask you to leave if behaviour is disruptive or unsafe, without refund.

6.4 Health & Safety:
You are responsible for ensuring you are physically and mentally fit to participate. You must inform us in advance of any allergies, medical conditions, or access requirements that may affect your participation.

6.5 Materials:
Unless stated otherwise, materials required for the workshop are included in the price. Tools or materials brought by you are used at your own risk.

7. Cancellations, Refunds & Complaints

Floral Products

7.1 You may request to cancel or amend a floral order up to 48 hours before the requested delivery or collection date.

7.2 Once perishable items have been dispatched or collected, cancellations are not possible.

7.3 If there is an issue with your order, you must contact us within 1 working day of delivery or collection. Where appropriate, we will offer a replacement, refund, or other suitable remedy.

7.4 Cancellations by you:

  • More than 7 days before the workshop date: you may request a transfer to another workshop (subject to availability) or receive a credit for future use.

  • Less than 7 days before the workshop date: no refund or credit will be offered.

  • Non-attendance (“no-shows”): no refund or credit.

7.5 Cancellations by us:
If we need to cancel or reschedule a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a full refund or transfer to a future workshop. We are not responsible for any additional costs you may have incurred (e.g. travel).

8. Freshness Guarantee

We aim to supply fresh, high-quality flowers. As flower longevity depends on care, environment, and plant variety, we cannot guarantee a specific lifespan. We will, however, deal fairly and reasonably with any concerns raised.

9. Liability

9.1 We are not liable for loss, damage, or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control (including extreme weather, transport disruption, or supplier failure).

9.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to products or workshops is limited to the total amount paid by you for the relevant order or booking.

9.3 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.

10. Intellectual Property & Photography

10.1 All website content, workshop materials, designs, and imagery are owned by or licensed to Rooted.

10.2 Workshops may be photographed or recorded for marketing purposes. By attending, you consent to this unless you notify us in writing prior to the workshop.

11. Privacy

Your use of our website, products, and workshops is subject to our Privacy Policy. By agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on our website with the updated date. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of any changes.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Northern Ireland courts.

14. Miscellaneous

14.1 If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

14.2 A person who is not a party to these Terms has no right to enforce any part of them under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act.
